The Ficus elastica 'Tineke' is prized for its very elegant variegated foliage: a mix of green, cream, and pinkish hues on the new growth. It brightens a room and adds a contemporary style.
Like all variegated varieties, it prefers bright light (but not too much direct sunlight) to maintain its color. Water when the surface of the soil is dry, and avoid moving it too often. A bright, stable spot equals a happy ficus.
